About me & my E t h o s
What I Do :
As a professional photographer, I specialise in fashion, headshots, and event photography, delivering dynamic and impactful images that capture the true essence of my subjects. My approach is rooted in authenticity, embracing natural beauty and individuality. Whether working on high-fashion shoots or capturing the energy of events like corporate gatherings and parties, I ensure my clients feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera. This results in visuals that are not only striking but also genuine. I’ve had the privilege of photographing events like Leicester and Birmingham Fashion Weeks, and I was honoured to attend a Pre-Party Networking event at London Fashion Week, invited by one of the designers. I also work closely with modelling agencies, helping models build professional portfolios through compelling headshots.
What I Value :
Authenticity is at the core of my photography. I move away from over-edited visuals and instead highlight the natural beauty and personality of each subject. Communication with clients is key; I take the time to understand their vision and ensure it comes to life in every shot. I aim to create a welcoming environment that puts my clients at ease, empowering them to feel confident in front of the camera. This relaxed atmosphere helps to enhance the final images, making them not only visually impactful but also deeply personal.
What Skills I have :
I bring a blend of technical proficiency and creativity to every project. With expertise in digital and film photography, I also have extensive experience with industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. My education at Leicester College, where I earned Triple Distinctions, provided me with a strong foundation in both the technical and artistic aspects of photography. I excel in capturing natural, unedited imagery, and I have a talent for making clients feel relaxed and confident during shoots, which leads to powerful, authentic photographs. From headshots to large-scale events, I have supported modelling agencies and contributed to key fashion events across the UK.
What’s My Background:
I’ve always had a passion for creativity. Growing up in Leicester with a British-Italian background, I spent my early years drawing, painting, and even building with Lego, which helped develop my visual skills. However, school was a challenge for me due to dyslexia and ADHD, which made traditional learning environments difficult to engage with. Despite these challenges, I found creative outlets outside the classroom that allowed me to express myself and grow. I’ve always gravitated towards older, more adventurous people, finding inspiration in their experiences, which shaped my own creative perspective.
My British-Italian upbringing also influenced my love for food, and I eventually pursued a career in hospitality and catering. I worked my way up to becoming a head waiter in a Michelin-star restaurant, where I learned the value of attention to detail, precision, and service. The kitchen was the heart of my family, where we connected and celebrated life—this sense of connection is something I bring into my photography today.
When I transitioned into photography, my experiences with ADHD and dyslexia became an asset rather than a challenge. ADHD fuels my creativity, allowing me to think outside the box and capture unique perspectives. Dyslexia has sharpened my ability to communicate visually, expressing ideas through imagery rather than words. The structure and precision I learned in hospitality, combined with the creativity I’ve always had, have come together to shape my approach to photography. Today, I’m known for my lively personality and my ability to make clients feel at ease, capturing moments that are authentic, natural, and full of life.
